Product description
- For hand and machine washing
- Ideal for ski and rainwear
HG waterproof 100% synthetic textile has been specially developed to make polyamide, polyester, nylon and other 100% synthetic textiles water- and dirt-repellent. This product is therefore ideal for making ski and rainwear, but also, for example, garden furniture covers, water- and dirt-repellent. Moreover, this highly concentrated product is very easy to use. The content of this bottle is sufficient for up to 3 kg of synthetic textiles.
Instructions for use
- Hand wash
- The garment to be treated should be clean and dry
- Fill a bucket, tub or basin with approximately 6 litres of lukewarm water
- Dilute 100 ml of product for every kilo of laundry
- Then immerse the garment in this solution and turn it over regularly for 15 minutes
- Then rinse with cold water
- The effect of this product is enhanced by heat, therefore preferably iron the textile before it is completely dry or dry it in a tumble dryer. Check the washing instructions of the textile whether this is allowed, otherwise dry on a clothes-line
- Washing machine
- The clothes to be treated should be clean and dry
- Make sure the washing machine is not completely full (up to three-quarters of the drum height), as the laundry must be able to move freely in the drum
- The washing machine's soap dish should be completely free of detergent residues, so clean it first if necessary. Detergent breaks down the effect of HG waterproof 100% synthetic textiles
- Select the garment programme (without pre-wash) or, if the washing instructions recommend it, the delicate or wool programme (without pre-wash).
- Do not add detergent or fabric softener
- The temperature depends on the fabric care instructions, but should not exceed 40ºC
- Start the washing machine and, after about 15 seconds, add 100 ml of product for each kilo of textile to the running water via the soap dish
- If these 15 seconds are not waited and the product is added too early, it may end up directly in the washing machine drain because a washing machine drains water first in the first few seconds of a new programme
- Do not use the product in a washing ball
- Finish the wash programme completely
- The effect of this product is enhanced by heat, therefore preferably iron the textile before it is completely dry or dry it in a tumble dryer. Consult the washing instructions of the textile whether this is permitted, otherwise dry on a clothes line
